ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Representative to join our team. As Account Representative for State Farm Agent Cathy P. Start, you will be vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success.
This role combines sales and service, requiring someone who can build strong relationships, identify customer needs, and provide tailored insurance solutions while delivering an outstanding client experience.
This role requires you to be on-site at our office in Union City, CA. Some remote work flexibility can be negotiated after 6 months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide exceptional customer service and sales support to new and existing clients
• Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell insurance products
• Assist clients in understanding coverage options and selecting appropriate policies
• Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage, policy changes, claims, billing, and account information
• Process policy updates and maintain accurate client records
• Prepare and submit insurance applications to underwriting
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Adapt to evolving processes, systems, and business needs to support team and customer success
QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• Must be willing and able to obtain a Life & Health insurance license (Agent will pay for license education)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or insurance

Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
