As Account Representative for Deanna Dempsey State Farm Agency, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

Sales Drive & Mentality

  • Proven hunter mindset — highly motivated self-starter who actively pursues new business every day
  • Closer with strong follow-up habits and a sense of urgency
  • Competitive, goal-oriented personality who thrives on hitting and exceeding daily & monthly targets
  • Comfortable asking for the sale and overcoming objections with confidence

Sales Performance

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Able to maintain consistent activity levels (calls, follow-ups, quotes, binders) in a remote environment
  • Ability to multi-line all products.
  • Understands value-based selling vs. price-based selling.
  • Strong pipeline management and lead conversion skills
  • Results-driven with personal accountability for production numbers

Client Experience & Retention

  • Professional communicator (phone, text, email, virtual)
  • Committed to a customer-first approach-conducted thought needs-based conversations and recommends appropriate coverage solutions that protect customers and their families
  • Smooth onboarding process for new customers
  • Consistently asks satisfied clients for Google reviews and referrals

Work Style & Environment

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote sales role
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn CRM and quoting systems
  • Positive, energetic attitude that contributes to a winning team culture

Preferred Background

  • Prior insurance sales experience preferred
  • State insurance licenses
  • Experience in commission-based or performance-based roles is a plus
