ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in 2000 and has grown into a high-energy team of eight who are focused on helping customers protect what matters most. Before becoming an agent, I spent years with State Farm starting in 1988 as a Claims Manager, which gave me a strong foundation in customer care, problem-solving, and leadership.
Insurance truly runs in the family. I’m married, my wife is also a State Farm agent, and our son followed the same path and now has his own agency. That shared experience brings a deep understanding of the business and a strong sense of pride in what we do. I’m also active in the community and serve as Chairman of the Jamaica YMCA, where we focus on supporting youth and strengthening local programs.
Our team enjoys free snacks and drinks, and we love celebrating wins together with team dinners at great restaurants and even trips. We also offer a 401(k), health benefits, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
