Tamara Thompson - State Farm Agent is looking for a motivated Insurance Agency Intern who’s eager to learn, stay organized, and help our team deliver a great customer experience. In this internship, you’ll support our insurance agents with day-to-day administrative tasks and customer follow-up—playing an important role in helping us attract new clients and retain existing ones.

In this internship, you’ll support our insurance agents with day-to-day administrative tasks and customer follow-up—playing an important role in helping us attract new clients and retain existing ones.
As a Intern - State Farm Agent Team Member Intern, you’ll use your attention to detail, friendly communication style, and interest in sales to keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced agency environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real-world skills in customer service, operations, and insurance sales support while exploring long-term career paths in the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently
- Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Base pay rate + monthly commission

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
