About the Role

This role will support our licensed service team by handling high-volume, non-licensed customer interactions so licensed team members can focus on complex service and coverage conversations. You’ll be a key part of delivering a smooth, friendly customer experience while keeping our office organized and efficient.

This is an unlicensed, in-office, part-time position supporting two State Farm agencies.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Call Support

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with unlicensed transactions (such as taking payments)
  • Gather customer information and route calls appropriately or create CRM tasks for licensed team members to complete transactions
Outbound Engagement

  • Contact customers to share information or request follow-up items
  • Call customers to set appointments
  • Make birthday and relationship-building calls
Customer Experience & Office Support

  • Work assigned customer service tasks that do not require an insurance license
  • Ask satisfied customers for online reviews and referrals
  • Assist customers with setting up their State Farm online accounts
  • Verify and update customer information to ensure CRM accuracy
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail

Schedule & Location

  • 20–25 hours per week
  • 4–6 hours per day, Monday–Friday
  • Some flexibility in start time, but must start between 8:45am-10:00am
  • In-office position based in University Place, WA
  • Supports both agencies using a shared virtual phone system

Compensation & Growth

  • $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience
  • Non-exempt, hourly position
  • High performers who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and strong customer skills may have opportunities to pursue licensing and advance into a licensed role.

Training & Support

  • Structured onboarding with job shadowing
  • Scripts to fall back on for common interactions
  • Checklists and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
Ongoing support from agency ownership 
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
