Join our dynamic team at Dick Martin State Farm Insurance as a State Farm Agent Team Member.

This position offers base salary plus bonus and benefits. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees – you'll be part of our agency team, not corporate State Farm. We provide training, licensing support, and a collaborative environment to build your career.
Compensation: $45,000 – $50,000 base + uncapped bonus (average first-year earnings: $55,000+) Benefits: Health insurance reimbursement, paid time off (vacation, sick), SIMPLE IRA matching, ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Respond to inbound inquiries, process policy changes, and handle claims follow-ups.
- Sales & Relationship Building: Identify cross-sell opportunities for products like auto, home, renters, life, health, and business insurance through need-based consultations.
- Administrative Support: Manage client files in our CRM system, schedule appointments, and prepare quotes.
- Team Collaboration: Act as a liaison between clients and departments, contributing to agency growth and retention goals.
- Compliance & Development: Maintain accurate records, stay current on licensing requirements, and participate in training programs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years in customer service, sales, or insurance preferred (entry-level candidates with strong interpersonal skills encouraged to apply).
- Education: High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in business, finance, or related field a plus.
- Licensing: Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty license (we provide study materials and exam support; Life & Health a plus).
- Skills: Excellent communication (phone/email/in-person), proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or Policy Center).
- Personal Attributes: Outgoing, empathetic, detail-oriented, and motivated by helping others.
- Other: Valid driver's license; ability to commute.
