Are you a people-focused professional who also has a competitive, sales-driven mindset? The Johnson Agency is seeking a Customer Relations Representative who will provide outstanding service to our existing customers while also identifying opportunities to grow the agency through in-book sales and coverage enhancements.

This is a fully licensed role (Property & Casualty and Life & Health required). If you are not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain your licenses—with full support provided.

About the Role

In this position, you’ll be responsible for servicing customer accounts and delivering an exceptional experience—while also contributing to agency growth through strategic conversations that identify additional insurance needs and product opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Outstanding Service – Manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and support policy needs with professionalism and care.

  • Retain & Grow Accounts – Assist with renewals, policy reviews, and retention strategies while identifying opportunities for additional coverage.

  • Drive In-Book Sales – Use your product knowledge to recommend insurance solutions that offer added protection and value to existing clients.

  • Stay Organized – Maintain accurate account information and ensure follow-up is timely and thorough.

  • Collaborate with the Team – Work closely with agents and staff to ensure client satisfaction and agency growth goals are met.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Sales-oriented mindset with willingness to engage in product conversations

  • Customer service or client-facing experience preferred

  • Ability to stay calm and solution-focused in fast-paced situations

  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health, or willing to become licensed with agency support

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
