ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Dexter Smith - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a unique 7-month paid training program beginning January 1, 2026.
Dexter Smith - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a unique 7-month paid training program beginning January 1, 2026.
From January through July, the selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in customer service and office operations, while also preparing to earn their Property, Casualty, Life, and Health licenses. At the successful completion of the program, the individual will transition into a full-time Account Representative role at another State Farm agency in Marshfield.
This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to build a career in insurance, with structured training, support, and a clear path for growth.
RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phones and greet customers in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Run daily bank deposits and complete basic office tasks.
- Assist customers with simple requests and direct them to the appropriate team member when needed.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain customer communications.
- Study and prepare for state licensing exams in Property, Casualty, Life, and Health.
POST-TRAINING ROLE (Account Representative in Marshfield):
- Engage with customers to review needs and provide insurance options.
- Build strong relationships through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Support policyholders with questions, changes, and claims-related inquiries.
- Contribute to the agency’s growth through sales conversations and customer retention efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, or administrative roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
- Comfortable learning insurance concepts and engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Must be willing to study for and obtain Property, Casualty, Life, and Health licenses during the training period.
Compensación: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
