As an Account Representative for Mike Trujillo Insurance Agency, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, property, and life insurance. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role is listed as hybrid (a mix of in-office and remote work); however, please note the following policy:

  • All new employees are required to work on-site for their first full year of employment.
  • After one year, employees may be considered for a hybrid schedule based on performance, role responsibilities, and business needs.
  • Hybrid eligibility is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Candidates must reside in or near Montrose, Colorado to fulfill the on-site work requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide information about insurance products and services.
  • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
  • Assist customers with policy applications. 
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Punctual & Reliable 
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Experience managing client relationships is preferred
  • Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
