Telemarketer - State Farm Agent Team Member

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a telemarketer for Jessica Hickey State Farm, you'll be responsible for setting insurance review appointments for our current customers, calling prospects to offer quotes for insurance and financial services, and communicating with prospects and policyholders via text, email and phone. We are looking for a confident, outgoing, and friendly individual to help grow our agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote State Farm insurance products and services.
  • Stay informed about the various insurance products and services offered by State Farm.
  • Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns or referrals to schedule appointments for agents.
  • Provide initial information to potential customers and answer basic questions about insurance options.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to State Farm guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and appointment scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous telemarketing or sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Communication and persuasion skills; proficiency in using CRM software.
  • Basic understanding of insurance products or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Focus on achieving targets and contributing to the agency’s growth.
  • Must have MD Property and Casualty Insurance License; or be willing to obtain prior to employment. 
MORE INFORMATION: 
  • Pay will include hourly rate, plus commission, and bonuses
  • Bilingual (Spanish) not required, but preferred (compensation increased for Spanish speakers).
  • This role is currently part-time; 15-25 hours per week. Schedule flexible, but ideally 3-6 hours per day for 3-4 days per week; during our normal business hours of 9-5 Monday through Friday.
  • Parttime employees are eligible to earn PTO and Retirement Matching
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
