Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this key role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued clients while also guiding and supporting a small team of CSRs. You'll handle complex inquiries, ensure exceptional service standards, assist with policy management, and help drive client retention and satisfaction. You'll handle complex inquiries, ensure exceptional service standards, assist with policy management, and help drive client retention and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to expert for client questions, policy changes, billing issues, claims assistance, coverage reviews, and endorsements
- Provide warm, professional service via phone, email, text, and in-person interactions
- Mentor, train, and support junior CSRs; help monitor service quality and share best practices
- Review and process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and payments accurately
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities and collaborate with agents to refer qualified leads
- Resolve escalated complaints and complex issues with empathy and efficiency
- Maintain detailed, accurate client records in our agency management system
- Contribute to a positive team environment and help uphold our agency's reputation for outstanding service
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish (not required, but also seeking)
- Experience in insurance customer service (P&C experience strongly preferred)
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required
- Strong knowledge of personal and/or commercial lines insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication skills – friendly, clear, patient, and professional under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma required; insurance designations (e.g., CISR, CIC) are a plus
- Must be reliable, team-oriented, and genuinely enjoy helping people

Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
