Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Specialist / Receptionist to join our team. This key role will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a multitasker with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer incoming phone calls, route them appropriately, and take messages as needed
- Schedule and confirm appointments and service bookings
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is neat and welcoming
- Assist customers with inquiries, service requests, and provide information about our services
- Maintain and update customer records and service logs accurately
- Coordinate with service technicians and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Resolve customer concerns promptly or escalate to the appropriate team member
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and enhance the customer experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus
- 440 or 220 Florida Insurance License
- Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, or administrative role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, scheduling systems)
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
