Job Type: Part-time with potential opportunity for full-time.

We are now seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as Customer Relations Specialist, to help take care of our current clients’ needs as well as educate and onboard new clients.

Job Description: As a Customer Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to existing customers, as well as helping new clients by creating customer-focused, needs based insurance proposals. You will work closely with our team to identify client needs, tailor insurance coverage options, and build long-lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. 
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Provide accurate quotes, explain policy features, and answer any questions or concerns clients may have.
  • Handle claims inquiries and assist clients throughout the claims process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and products to effectively discuss insurance solutions
Requirements:

  • The highest level of integrity and reliability is a must.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive in problem-solving
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex insurance policies.
  • Proficient in using insurance software and computer systems- or the ability to learn them quickly
  • Strong negotiation abilities
  • A valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one. Property & Casualty License and Life & Health License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
