ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in 2001 and currently has a small team of one full-time and two part-time team members. Before opening my agency, I spent eight years as a fire claims representative with State Farm, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding customer needs and how to provide exceptional service.

I studied business at College of Charleston. Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy working on home construction projects and cheering on Carolina Football.

We offer a Simple IRA, flexible scheduling to support work-life balance, and licensing reimbursement. While our community involvement mostly focuses on financial support, we’re proud to contribute to local causes in meaningful ways.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Ashley Johnson - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Compensation: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
