ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 1978 and currently have a team of five full-time and three part-time team members. I started my career as a commercial lines agent right out of college, which laid the foundation for my long tenure in the insurance industry.

I’m a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida. My wife and I have been married for 51 years, and we have three children and eight grandchildren. Community involvement has always been important to me — I’ve been an active member of my church for 40 years and the Rotary Club for 35 years, and I co-host monthly Cars & Coffee events.

Our agency embraces a traditional, “old school” State Farm approach, prioritizing high customer service and quality standards. Many of our team members have been with us for over 20 years, which speaks to the strong culture and family-friendly environment we’ve built.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Gary Merideth - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
  • Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
  • Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
Compensation: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
