*The typical total comp for this role is determined by a number of factors including experience, education, insurance licenses, certifications, and skillset.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand and fulfill their insurance needs.
  • Actively sell and promote various insurance policies, including Property & Casualty, Life & Health, plus Financial Services to both prospective and existing individual and business clients,  using a consultative need based selling techniques.
  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge and guidance to help clients on product selection.
  • Guide clients through different insurance coverage options and assist with policy renewals and changes.
  • Collaborate with the agent to develop and achieve marketing goals.
  • Utilize leads effectively, schedule appointments, and provide personalized solutions to clients.
  • Develop new customers relationships through networking, direct referrals, lead databases, reviews and marketing calls.
  • Reach targets, consistently meeting or exceeding personal quotas.
  • Secure all trailing documents from customers.
  • Process customer policy change requests and follow up for accuracy.
  • Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Document each customer contact in our database.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Verify phone numbers, address and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Provide on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
 Qualifications:
  • Enthusiastic, Positive Attitude and Coachable
  • Ability to develop new prospective customers from various sources to write new business.
  • Strong customer retention/service skills.
  • Proficiency in sales administration and customer service.
  • Professional and friendly phone etiquette.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver exceptional service.
  • ILLINOIS P&C & L&H INSURANCE LICENSES REQUIRED
  • Recent experience in a similar role preferred.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
