ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Telemarketer - State Farm Agent Team Member for Tamara Thompson - State Farm Agent, you’ll be at the heart of our agency’s growth, using your creativity and strategic thinking to shape how the world sees us. Your diverse marketing expertise will not only strengthen our brand’s image but also deepen relationships with the customers who trust us. Through innovative, cross-functional campaigns—whether engaging audiences on social media or connecting at local community events—you’ll drive meaningful value for our producers and elevate our customers’ experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote State Farm insurance products and services.
  • Identify and qualify leads by gathering relevant customer information for agents.
  • Stay up-to-date on State Farm’s insurance products and services.
  • Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns or referrals to schedule appointments.
  • Provide initial information and answer basic questions about insurance options.
  • Maintain and update the database of prospects and customer interactions.
  • Ensure all communications comply with State Farm guidelines and standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and appointment scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
  •  P&C, Life & Health license preferred. 
  • Previous telemarketing or sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Communication and persuasion skills; proficiency in using CRM software.
  • Basic understanding of insurance products or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
  • Organizational skills to manage and track multiple leads.
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner.

Compensation: $31,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
