Role Description:
As an Insurance Telemarketer at our State Farm agency, you play a vital role in connecting potential customers with valuable insurance solutions. Your primary responsibility will be making outbound calls to individuals and businesses, introducing them to our range of State Farm products and services. You’ll identify qualified prospects, gather relevant information, and set appointments for our licensed agents, helping grow our customer base and support our agency’s success.

We’re looking for a motivated, goal-oriented professional who enjoys engaging with people over the phone and thrives in a sales-driven environment. If you’re organized, resilient, and eager to build your skills in the insurance industry, we’d love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce State Farm insurance products and services.
  • Qualify leads by collecting relevant information and assessing customer needs.
  • Schedule appointments for licensed agents to discuss insurance solutions in detail.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and referrals in a timely manner.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and maintain up-to-date records in our CRM system.
  • Answer basic questions about insurance products and direct detailed inquiries to agents.
  • Ensure all communications comply with State Farm guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team performance targets for calls, leads, and appointments.
Qualifications:

  • Previous telemarketing, call center, or sales experience (insurance industry experience preferred).
  • Excellent verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable handling rejection and persistent in pursuing sales goals.
  • Basic understanding of insurance products or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and general computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner at all times.
