ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Are you a motivated, goal-oriented individual with at least 1 year of insurance and sales experience who enjoys connecting with people over the phone? As an Account Representative with Sierra Juhl State Farm, you’ll be a key player in growing our agency by reaching out to potential clients and offering insurance solutions that protect what matters most. Your role will focus on making outbound calls to educate prospects, identify their insurance needs, and guide them through the sales process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce insurance products and services.
  • Identify customer needs through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Present tailored insurance options and explain coverage benefits clearly.
  • Overcome objections and guide prospects toward making informed decisions.
  • Schedule appointments or complete sales over the phone when possible.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, customer information, and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain and build knowledge of Property and Casualty and Life and Health insurance products.
WHO YOU ARE:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance sales or a closely related field.
  • Preferred to hold Property and Casualty and Life and Health licenses; if not currently licensed, must be able to obtain them.
  • Confident and persuasive communicator with a strong phone presence.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, able to handle rejection positively and keep moving forward.
  • Goal-driven with a passion for sales and helping customers.
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows applications.
  • Eager to continue learning about insurance products and sales techniques.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
