ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Customer Relations Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Jim Tom - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Maintain customer records and update information as needed.
  • Assist with customer retention strategies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Offer suggestive sales of products, programs and promotions based on needs.
  • Ability to interact with customers, primarily via telephone, email, text and in person.
  • Participate and assist with new customer product generation (i.e.  cross sell, lead generation, referrals, reviews, etc.).
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through timely follow-up using clear and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in customer service preferred.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.
  • Positive attitude 
  • Coachable
  • Strong work ethics
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, treat internal and external customers with courtesy and respect at all times
Education & Experience 
Strong computer skills
Preferred min 2 yrs customer service/retention and/or sales experience
Prefer insurance agency experience of 1+ yrs
Minimum HS or GED
Insurance Licenses (possess or able to acquire asap)

Total compensation for this role is based on various factors, including but not limited to skill set, insurance licenses, education and level of experience in this position
 
Compensation: $38,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
