Account Representative (Sales) — Chris LeMay State Farm Agency
As an Account Representative for Chris LeMay – State Farm Agent, your mission is simple: drive new business with needs-based conversations. You’ll prospect, quote, and close—turning leads into customers and customers into long-term relationships through proactive outreach and smart coverage recommendations.

Responsibilities (Growth Focus)
- Generate new business through outbound calling, texting, emailing, and follow-up with prospects and leads.
- Build a consistent pipeline by working lead lists, re-engaging past quotes, and creating referral opportunities.
- Convert opportunities into bound policies by conducting needs-based conversations, presenting options, and confidently asking for the sale.
- Execute local growth initiatives (campaigns, community outreach, referral programs) to expand agency reach.
- Track sales activity and results to stay on pace for growth goals (quotes, conversations, conversions, and premium growth).
What Success Looks Like
- Hitting/exceeding new business and premium growth targets
- Strong quote-to-bind conversion and consistent follow-up
- A healthy, growing pipeline and steady referral generation
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable initiating conversations
- Sales-driven, persistent, and goal-oriented (“hunter” mindset)
- Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at once
- Customer service or sales experience preferred (insurance experience a plus)
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
