RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in hands-on Fernland State Farm training.
- Embrace professional development opportunities.
- Make 50+ outbound marketing calls daily.
- Provide five households with Auto/Fire quotes each day.
- Exceed activity and sales goals.
- Capture opportunity data and follow up with prospects.
- Engage in meaningful conversations to deepen customer relationships.
- Conduct needs-based discovery conversations and schedule appointments.
- Obtain multi-line commitments from existing policyholders.
- Aim for 5-star customer reviews and generate referrals
- Optional networking and community events may be provided.
- Deliver world-class customer service and maintain agency integrity.
- Make State Farm premium fund deposits and uphold agency security measures.
- Follow the Agency Handbook.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAITS OF A SUCCESSFUL AGENT:
- Must pass a criminal background check, with no felony related to the insurance and financial services industry in the last 10 years.
- All prior license appointments must be confirmed terminated before starting.
- Typing speed of 65+ words per minute.
- Ability to multitask across multiple computer monitors and tabs.
- Strong conversational skills with customers.
- Resilience in handling rejection as part of the sales process.
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred, or relevant education/experience in business, sales, insurance, finance, real estate, or mortgages.
- Growth mindset: focus on solutions, critical thinking, and learning from failure.
- Embrace a success-oriented team with accountability and support from your Agent/Supervisor.
- Additional advantages include bilingual communication skills, prior insurance experience, and existing insurance licenses (4-40/2-20, 2-14/2-15) or securities licenses (Series 6, Series 65) and/or designations.
