Position Overview: Are you an outgoing individual with a passion for customer service? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a difference in people's lives? Our agents exclusively market State Farm insurance and financial service products, and we are looking for a motivated Insurance Sales Associate to help us grow our client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing follow-up as needed.
  • Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by addressing inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
  • Work incoming leads efficiently and effectively.
  • Pivot to needs based insurance coverage options.
  • Quote insurance based products and submit applications for customers.
  • Schedule appointments, assess customer needs, and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Uphold a strong work ethic, demonstrating commitment to success every day.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience (inside sales, outside sales, retail, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Enthusiasm for the role that insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risks, recover from unexpected events, and achieve their goals.
  • People-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive problem solver with strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must currently have or obtain Property, Casualty, Life, and Health license.
Important Note: This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Acceptance of this position does not guarantee an agency position with State Farm Insurance Companies. As an agent team member, you will still need to go through the regular State Farm agent selection process when you are ready to pursue an agency opportunity. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees.
