Job Description:

Heather Taylor State Farm is seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our insurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers to provide information about our insurance products, explain policy coverages, and identify the unique needs of each client. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Meet with clients, both in person and via phone or virtual meetings, to discuss their insurance needs and provide personalized service.
  • Policy Explanation: Clearly and effectively explain various insurance coverages, terms, and conditions to clients to ensure they understand their policies.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ insurance needs to recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, policy details, and any changes in coverage.
  • Sales Support: Assist in the sales process by identifying potential cross-selling and up-selling opportunities based on client needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including underwriters and claims adjusters, to provide comprehensive service to clients.
Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience in the insurance industry or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Licensing: Must hold or be willing to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
    • Ability to explain complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
    • Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to the insurance industry.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
