Position Overview

A State Farm Insurance Agent in Auburn, WA is looking for a dynamic and career-driven professional to join their team. As a member of Brian Harris - State Farm Agent's State Farm team, you will cultivate and strengthen customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products, including auto, home, life, and health insurance. We are seeking candidates who are eager to advance within our agency, with opportunities to become an Office Manager or a State Farm agent.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain customer relationships, following up as necessary.
  • Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to inform clients about insurance options.
  • Generate leads, schedule appointments, assess customer needs, and market relevant products and services.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and a commitment to daily success.

Requirements

  • Must possess property, casualty, life, and health insurance licenses.
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • People-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Able to learn computer functions.
  • Take pride in completing work accurately and on time.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred.

Note on Commission: The 12-month average earnings for a first-year employee range from $1,000 to $2,500 per month, equating to an additional $12,000 to $30,000 annually, on top of a base salary between $45,760 and $62,400.

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must successfully complete any relevant licensing requirements and training programs. Please note: Accepting this position does not guarantee an agency position with State Farm Insurance Companies. As an agent team member, you will need to go through the standard State Farm agent selection process when you are ready to pursue an agency opportunity. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees; thus, employees of State Farm agents are not employees of State Farm.
Compensation: $57,760.00 - $92,400.00 per year
