Terri Anderson-Berger, State Farm Agency, located in Wixom, MI is currently looking for a talented, caring professional to join our team as a Customer/Sales Service Representative. This is a position focused on Customer Service for a well-established State Farm Agent. You’ll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience.
Terri Anderson-Berger, State Farm Agency, located in Wixom, MI is currently looking for a talented, caring professional to join our team as a Customer/Sales Service Representative. This is a position focused on Customer Service for a well-established State Farm Agent. You’ll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each day.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
- Quote personal/commercial insurance
You will receive:
- Salary plus Commission/Bonus
- Paid Time Off (vacation, personal, sick days)
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows
- Pride in getting work done accurately and timely
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Property Casualty license (must have currently)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
- Must be available to work the following schedule Monday through Friday 9-5

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Compensation: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
